ABOUT US
We started the sanctuary of light with a vision. We wanted to create an environment so rich and abundant with love that the healing capacity of that frequency radiates to and permeates the world around us. Our goals are to help others to heal as well as to cultivate and nourish a loving community through energy and light work.
Every month we host a fire ceremony under the light of the full moon where we ask the earth and elements to convert the energies of the herbs, wishes and prayers from our affirmation jar. Pachamama (mother earth) is constantly and naturally transforming and converting energy with motherly love to bring about new creations with the intention of the highest good. It is with this understanding that we hold the ceremony.
If you have something (an emotion, thought, idea, situation, ect.) that you would like to let go, work on, see improve, or manifest for yourself or on behalf of someone else, then come to the sanctuary, write it down on a piece of paper, and put it in our affirmation jar. We have a variety of ceremonial herbs that you may add to the jar as well. Taylor and I will send reiki to the wishes and prayers until the next full moon when we host the ceremony.
Another part of our vision is to open our doors to different artists, vendors, and healers. So if you are a painter, jeweler, potter, ect. and would like to display your crafts for sale or swap at our studio, please contact us. We will also display business cards and flyers on your behalf. We believe in helping and supporting those around us and see this as an opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals. The world is a better place when you lend a loving hand.

From the time I was around fifteen years old I became a sponge for information regarding natural healing and medicine. I decided to pursue a career as a Holistic nurse and am currently working towards my nursing degree.
I began getting my Reiki certifications in 2015, which include Usui Reiki as well as Kundalini Reiki.
I have practice removing chords and using crystals for healing. I work largely from a heart space and have always felt a deep connection to the earth and the energies of the universe. I also have a strong interest in plant medicine. I hope to be a part of the integration of Eastern healing techniques into the Western world.
Since I began practicing Reiki, I have noticed many changes in my life, including a deeper connection to myself and my purpose. I feel as though Reiki has allowed me to express my desire to help humanity and empower others to step into their true selves. I hope that those who come to the Sanctuary can find peace and healing in this beautiful space.
The first time I experienced Reiki was with Taylor. Before I felt it, I didn't think it was real. I was a skeptic. I had doubted anything spiritual and attributed many of my past experiences to my imagination. But I have always been willing to try new things and decided to go into it with an open mind. So, I laid down with my eyes shut, ready to let whatever happen when two bright lights appeared on either side of me. I opened my eyes, thinking someone had turned the lights on, but found that I was still in a dark room. As Taylor held her hands over my body, I felt this amazing, vibrating warmth flow into me.
I've always been a curious person on the search for knowledge but this was the experience that broadened my horizons of what I thought was possible. Ever since, I have been studying and practicing Reiki as well as other facets of energy work. My study of and passion for psychological science parallels with these practices and has formed a strong foundation of understanding the neurophysiology of perceiving Reiki as well as altered states of consciousness.
This path has been one of self-healing, dream walking, authentic connection and, above all else, love. It is my hope that I can share this gift with those who are open to it.
